Cross country and foot trails only, no lift access available.

Bike service, rentals and programming available 7 days a week by appointment only.

Chalet open weekends-only, 10:00am – 3:00pm for ticket sales, rentals, bathrooms, snacks and refreshments.

Bike rentals, bike lessons, camps, guided rides available 7 days/week — due to COVID protocols, must be reserved in advance.

Full-service bike shop open Wednesday-Sunday 10:00-2:00.

Chalet open Monday-Wednesday 10:00-2:00, Thursday-Friday 10:00-4:00, and Saturday-Sunday 9:00-4:00 for bathrooms, ticket sales, rentals, refreshments.

Lift access Saturday, Sunday 11:00-4:00. No lift service on stat holidays.

Off Hours Trail Use

Our riding and hiking trails are available for use sun-up to sun-down, 7 days a week.

For those using our trails outside of operating hours, the honour system is in effect. Deposit your $10 riding fee (or $5 hiking/running fee) along with your signed waiver in the red mailbox at the base of the carpet lift before starting your activity.

Food & Beverage
While the chalet is open, drinking water is available, and snacks and cold drinks will be available for purchase.

Rates

2-hour and full-day trail passes are available with either 1 lift access or unlimited lift access (weekends only, see Hours of Operation). Alternatively, season passes and ticket multi-packs offer great value those riders who plan to make us a habit.

No ride? No problem. Rentals are available by advance booking to ensure availability of appropriately-sized and sanitized bicycles. Please note, at this time we rent hardtails only — front suspension-only for those still picking up the lingo.

Canine Companions

Dogs are permitted to accompany guests on the foot trails only, and must be leashed at all times.

Of course, it goes without saying… if they poop, you scoop, and dispose of in garbage can or take with you on your departure.

As Sir Sam’s Ski / Ride is located further north and at a higher elevation than Peterborough, Lindsay, the Muskokas or Toronto, our weather conditions are typically quite different than what you may be experiencing at home.
