COVID VACCINATION POLICY

GENERAL

There will be no vaccine mandate for staff or customers this season at Sir Sam’s Ski/Ride.  Unvaccinated individuals will be permitted to use the facilities under certain restrictions.

Customers will not be required to show proof vaccination to access the property or go skiing.

All customers must successfully pass the Covid Screening Exam before being granted permission to enter the property.

Customers wanting to use the indoor dining facilities must show proof of vaccination.

Access to the lower level chalet facilities including Snow School, AO retail, Rental Shop, Lockers or Ticket Sales will not require proof of vaccination.

Customers must respect capacity limits posted on the signs in each room of the chalet to maintain social distance.

For those not dining indoors needing washroom facilities, will have access to the handicap bathroom, rental shop bathroom and heated mobile bathrooms in the parking lot.

While inside the chalet all customers must wear a mask at all times in all areas unless they are seated and eating.

Masks are strongly recommended for outdoor use in lift lines, ticket lines or while on the lift.

Line ups for tickets or lifts must maintain the 2m social distance.

No outside food will be permitted in the chalet, tent or on the deck.  Personal food may be consumed in personal vehicles.

Locker holders will be permitted to put on boots in the locker area, abiding by mask and social distance regulations.

If you do not have a seasonal locker, ski boots must be put on in your car, there are no storage facilities for personal belongings in the chalet.

All daily lift tickets should be purchased on line and in advance, availability will be limited at the door.

Seasons Pass and Voucher holders must obtain a $0 reservation to secure their spot on the hill each day they intend to visit.

No vaccination required to go skiing.

All participants in Snow School Programming must wear masks at all time during lessons.

Maintain 2m distance while waiting in lift, dining or ticket lines.

Masks are strongly recommended in all outdoor settings.

 

Proof of vaccination is required to enter the upper level restaurant of the chalet.

Dining patrons will have access to the bathrooms on the upper level of the chalet.

Skiers have access to bathrooms in the lower lever or outside the chalet.

Vaccination is not required to access lower level facilities including Snow School, AO retail, Rental Shop, Ticket Sales, Lockers or bathrooms.

Masks are mandatory during all ski or snowboard lessons.

 

The Sir Sam’s COVID Policy will take Effect December 1, 2021.  Regardless of how local or provincial health guidelines relax during the ski season, these policies will not.  This policy will be enforced throughout the entirety of the season without modification.

In the event of a local outbreak or increase in cases provincially, more stringent measures may be imposed.  Any changes in policy will be facilitated by an information campaign to all customers and staff.

Customers who choose not abide by the Sir Sam’s COVID Policy will not be permitted on the property or to use any of the facilities.

Customers who argue or debate the COVID policy with Sir Sam’s staff will have their lift ticket or seasons pass removed without any refund.

Online Ticket Sales

Once you complete a purchase, your credit card will be charged for the amount shown, regardless of whether or not the purchased ticket(s) is/are used. All tickets and passes are subject to the restrictions described in the product description and/or pickup instructions.

We do not guarantee weather or other conditions, open terrain, number of operating lifts, or availability of foodservice.

Credit will not be given for any unused Purchases and cannot be used toward any future Purchases.

Tickets are not delivered by mail. Once your purchase is confirmed, we will provide you access to an electronic voucher. You must print the voucher and present it at the ticket office to claim your tickets. The Purchaser whose name appears on the voucher must redeem the ticket(s) in person with a valid photo ID.

cancellation/rebooking

Refunds or credit will be extended for tickets/rentals that can not be redeemed on their assigned date for the following reasons:

  • Closure mandated by the provincial government or health authorities to curb COVID spread; or
  • Closure due to adverse weather conditions making use of the facilities unsafe.

 

Need to rebook or cancel your visit? The following applies to BOTH lift tickets and rentals:

  • REBOOKINGS: For changes of date with no change in purchase price, FREE anytime
  • CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations inside of 48 hours of your reservation date will incur a fee of $10/Lift Ticket and/or $10/Rental Package or Item, with  the remaining purchase amount refunded or issued as a gift card. Cancellations made beyond 48 hours are FREE.

Season Pass Credit Policy

Updated for the 2021/22 winter season

In the event that our 2021/22 winter season operating days are limited by mandated closures, the following reimbursement criteria for Season Pass holders will be in effect:

Credit will be calculated based on the number of visits made  at the full regular daily rate, subtracted from the total paid for the season pass.

Reimbursement will only be calculated once the 2021/22 season is officially closed.

8-Pack Tickets can be carried over to the following season with a $5 surcharge per ticket.

Policies

Camp Cancellations

Any cancellations after payment has been processed will incur a $25 admin fee to process a refund.

Cancellations made less than 1 week prior to start day of camp/program will not be refunded.

Missed lessons will not be made up.

Lesson Cancellations

If you cannot attend your lesson, please email snowschool@sirsams.com no later than 8:00am the day of your lesson to let us know, and we will hold your lesson credit minus a $15 admin fee.

If we receive your cancellation after 8:00am or if you are a “no show” for a lesson there will be no opportunity for a make-up or refund.

Lessons cancelled prior to 8am on the lesson day can be rescheduled for another day or a credit can be given to you in the form of a Sir Sam’s gift certificate for the value of the lesson(s) minus $15/lesson booked. 

If you require a refund onto a credit card, a $25 administration fee will be charged.
